Refund and Returns Policy

At VSD World Australia, we stand behind the quality of every genuine Allen Bradley PowerFlex drive we sell. This policy outlines your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) and our return procedures.

1. Australian Consumer Law Guarantees

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010). You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure, and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

2. Returns for Change of Mind

We offer a 14-day change-of-mind return policy subject to the following conditions: the product must be unused, in its original sealed packaging, and in resaleable condition; you must provide proof of purchase; a restocking fee of 15% may apply; shipping costs for change-of-mind returns are the customer’s responsibility; custom-ordered or specially imported drives are not eligible.

3. Faulty or Defective Products

If you receive a product that is faulty, defective, or not as described, you are entitled to a remedy under the Australian Consumer Law at no cost to you. For minor faults, we will offer repair, replacement, or refund at our discretion. For major faults, you may choose a replacement or a full refund, including any shipping costs incurred.

4. Warranty

All Allen Bradley PowerFlex drives sold by VSD World carry the manufacturer warranty provided by Rockwell Automation. This manufacturer warranty is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, which are not limited by any warranty period.

5. How to Initiate a Return

Contact us via email at sales@vsdworld.com.au or call 1300 VSD WORLD. Provide your order number, product details, and reason for return. For faulty products, include photos or a description of the fault. We will provide a Return Authorisation Number (RAN) and return instructions. Please do not return products without first obtaining a RAN.

6. Refund Processing

Once we receive and inspect the returned product, we will notify you of the outcome. Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 5 to 10 business days. If the return is due to a fault or error on our part, we will also refund any shipping costs.

7. Damaged in Transit

If your order arrives damaged during shipping, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the damage. We will arrange a replacement or full refund at no additional cost.
